ABOUT THE MAKER
Thirteen years directing film. Two years listening to clay.
I'm a creative director - thirteen years into directing film, animation, and video production for studios and startups across India and abroad. My masters in stop-motion at BAU Barcelona ended in a thesis film selected for the Cannes Short Film Corner. Working with my hands is why stop-motion pulled me in; pottery, picked up two years ago, comes from that same place. The slowness of clay, the patience it demands, the way a piece won't be rushed - all of it feeds back into how I direct.
What drives me at the wheel is form and colour - I'll happily lose an afternoon layering glazes just to see what a combination does in the kiln. Two years in, and it still feels like the beginning.

Torn-Edge Cup
GLAZED STONEWARE · HAND-BUILT
The rim is left where the clay wanted to tear — a record of resistance rather than a flaw smoothed away. Deep teal glaze pools in the folds and breaks to bronze at the edge.

The Wave Bowl
GLAZED STONEWARE · HAND-BUILT
Seen from above, the walls move like water caught mid-swell. A sea-glass green settles in the basin, thinning to fog where the form rises.

Swirling Tea Cup
GLAZED STONEWARE
A quiet one. Warm iron-brown glaze turned on itself, sized exactly to the cradle of two palms.

Wave Dishes
GLAZED STONEWARE · WHEEL THROWN + HAND-BUILT
Thrown flat, then pinched and lifted at the rim until each dish holds its own small tide. The pair share a glaze but not a temperament.

Curved Bowl
GLAZED STONEWARE · HAND-BUILT
Built up in coils and pushed outward until the wall bellied. The celadon glaze runs in slow drips down the outer face — the kiln finishing the drawing.

Wave Bowl II
GLAZED STONEWARE
Moss, bronze and deep blue-green move across the surface like weather. The form leans into the fold rather than fighting it.

Teal Wave Cup
GLAZED STONEWARE · WHEEL THROWN + HAND-BUILT
A thrown cup, cut and rebuilt so one wall curls over like a breaking wave. Speckled teal outside, warm clay inside the curl.

Wave Vessel / Plate
GLAZED STONEWARE
Somewhere between vessel and plate — a deep green field with a rim that refuses to sit still. Glossy where it pools, matte where it thins.

Curvy Green Form
GLAZED STONEWARE · WHEEL THROWN + HAND-BUILT
Thrown round, then pushed until the wall folded into arches. Olive glaze holds the light differently on every face.

Speckled Bowl in Blue
GLAZED STONEWARE · HAND-BUILT
A square dish whose rim rises in peaks — a mountain range in miniature. The speckled cobalt glaze deepens in the valleys and frosts white on the summits.

Blue Flower Plate
GLAZED STONEWARE · HAND-BUILT
Five petals pressed from slabs, each cupping its own pool of white where the glaze gathered. Made to hold small things carefully.
The blush series
Nos. 12 — 14 · GLAZED STONEWARE, HAND-BUILT
A softer register — rose and salt-pink glazes over warm clay, forms that curl and fold like petals just past full bloom.

Studies & Small Forms
GLAZED STONEWARE
Test tiles, glaze trials, forms too small to name. The scatter on the bench where most of the learning happens.

Spinning Form
GLAZED STONEWARE · HAND-BUILT
A small hand-built object, glazed in concentric bands of pink, blue, and green. It spins — and while it does, the bands blur into one colour.
